Henry Jollof Restaurant operates three locations in the Greater Toronto Area — Mississauga (Dundas St E), Mississauga (Fewster Dr), and Scarborough (Danforth Rd) — as well as this website at www.henryjollof.ca.

We are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us, in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Ontario's applicable privacy legislation.

When you submit a reservation, catering, or private-hire request through our website, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your preferred date, time, and party size
• Any notes you choose to include about your event or visit

We do not collect payment information through this website.

We use your information solely to respond to your reservation or event enquiry — specifically, to contact you by phone or email to confirm or discuss your booking. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.

When you submit a request, your information is sent via SMS notification (through Twilio, Inc.) to the relevant restaurant location so our team can follow up with you. This website is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure.

Each submission is also written to a secure, access-controlled database (Supabase, hosted on AWS) for internal audit and operational purposes. Access to this database is restricted to server-side backend processes only — it cannot be read, modified, or deleted via the website or any client-side interface.

To protect the service from spam and abuse, we briefly process a one-way cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of your IP address for rate-limiting purposes. We do not store your raw IP address, and the hash cannot be reversed to identify you or your device.

Twilio, Vercel, and Supabase each maintain their own privacy and security practices. Links to their policies are available at twilio.com/legal/privacy, vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy, and supabase.com/privacy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. Your information is shared only with:

• The Henry Jollof location staff handling your request
• Twilio, Inc., solely to deliver the SMS notification described above

This website does not currently use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels. If this changes, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent for its use (where applicable)

Submission records are retained in our audit database for operational and compliance purposes. If you would like us to delete your personal information from our records, contact us at the email below and we will action your request within a reasonable timeframe.
